Julia Child R.I.P.

The Associated Press

LOS ANGELES -- Julia Child, whose warbling, encouraging voice and able hands brought the intricacies of French cuisine to American home cooks through her television series and books, died in her sleep three days before what would have been her 92nd birthday.

She was the epitome of a down to earth chef whose quirky comments entertained us for years on PBS tv.  I'm gonna miss her.  But I have her books.  Do you?

i truly believe she opened so many doors not for just women but for american cooking in general in the 60's I mean being a chef is kinda a man's world but she made it "ok" for women to make it their career.. hope you are doing well keep goin strong! much props!
